Cory Ryan is the President of IMA Diligence Services, where he sets the strategic direction of the firm and leads the financial diligence practice. In his role, Cory oversees the company’s growth initiatives, cultivates client relationships, and ensures that IMA delivers the highest level of insight and value across its service offerings. He works closely with the leadership team to guide practice development, talent growth, and long-term business strategy.

Cory also advises private and public clients on a wide range of matters related to transactions, capital structure, valuation, accounting, and tax. His background in both debt and equity allows him to bring a broad perspective to complex situations, helping clients navigate strategic decisions with clarity and confidence. His work spans both buy-side and sell-side transactions, with a focus on delivering actionable insights that support decision-making and long-term success.

He has served as a speaker on financial due diligence and the valuation of privately held businesses at industry events, including the ACG Capital Connection. He has also co-presented on business valuation and forensic accounting topics for various professional audiences.

Cory holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Accountancy from DePaul University. He is a CPA, a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and is certified in Financial Forensics. He is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Illinois CPA Society.
